Tucano at the Venice Film Festival 2024 a twenty-year collaboration between art and sustainability
This year too, Tucano is taking part in the Venice International Film Festival, celebrating the twentieth anniversary of this important collaboration. The partnership between Tucano and the Biennale Cinema is an example of how Italian excellence can combine art, culture, innovation and environmental sustainability.
Over the years, Tucano has provided iconic bags that have become a symbol of the event. Also in 2024, Tucano continues to be the official supplier of shoppers for the Festival, made of recycled plastic, in line with a strong commitment to eco-sustainability.
Directed by Alberto Barbera, the 2024 Venice Film Festival will have Sveva Alviti as its godmother and Damien Chazelle as the president of the jury. Among the Italian titles in competition are eagerly awaited works such as “Campo di battaglia” by Gianni Amelio and “Queer” by Luca Guadagnino. The foreign films in competition are also arousing great interest, among which Tim Burton's “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and Todd Phillips' “Joker: Folie à Deux” stand out.
