82nd Venice Film Festival: Official Tucano Shopper Bags

The Venice International Film Festival of the Biennale di Venezia will once again bring together filmmakers, professionals, and audiences on the Lido, from August 27 to September 6, 2025. This event brings together diverse perspectives and new stories, confirming its position as one of the most anticipated cinematic events of the year.

For this edition too, Tucano is supporting the event as a supplier of official shopping bags : practical travel companions for days packed with screenings, interviews and meetings, made from fabric obtained from recycled plastic .

A bond that has lasted for over twenty years

The collaboration between Tucano and the Venice Film Festival is a story that renews itself season after season, spanning formats, locations, and generations of films. Over time, our tote bags have become familiar objects for guests and industry professionals, part of the set of gestures and tools that make the Festival run smoothly.

The 2025 edition in brief

The 82nd edition is directed by Alberto Barbera and sees Alexander Payne as president of the main competition jury. There are five official juries: Venezia 82 , Orizzonti , the “Luigi De Laurentiis” Award for a First Film , Venice Immersive , and Venice Classics ; the awards will be presented on Saturday, September 6th during the final ceremony.

The opening is entrusted to “La Grazia” by Paolo Sorrentino , presented in its world premiere, while Emanuela Fanelli hosts the opening and closing evenings.

The program includes the International Competition (Venice 82) , with up to 21 world premiere feature films , and the Orizzonti and Venice Spotlight sections, which promote new trends and originality in dialogue with the public. The program is completed by Venice Immersive , Venice Classics , and the initiatives of the Biennale College Cinema .

This year the Golden Lions for Lifetime Achievement are awarded to Werner Herzog and Kim Novak.
